I'd love to share my experiences with some super fun baby shower games! I recently attended a friend's baby shower, and we had sso much fun playing baby-themed Pictionary, Baby Bottle Ring Toss, and a Diaper Fashion Show. Sounds crazy - but it was such a great time and guests were feeling so relaxed and were cracking up!
Here’s a quick rundown on how to play each baby shower game.
---
BABY-THEMED PICTIONARY
We gathered around in the living room, and prepared to put our artistic skills to the test. Here's how we played:
1. Materials Needed:
- A whiteboard or large pad of paper
- Dry erase markers or regular markers
- A timer
- A bowl with slips of paper containing baby-related words or phrases
2. Setup:
- We divided ourselves into two teams. Each team had a mix of people with varying artistic abilities, which made it even more fun!
- One person from Team A would take a slip of paper from the bowl, which had words like "baby bottle," "diaper change," or "baby's first steps."
3. How to Play:
- The chosen person had one minute to draw the word or phrase on the whiteboard without using any letters or numbers.
- The rest of the team had to guess the phrase before the timer ran out. If they guessed correctly, they earned a point.
- Then, it was Team B’s turn to do the same.
- We kept playing until everyone had a chance to draw, and the team with the most points at the end won a prize.
BABY BOTTLE RING TOSS
The Baby Bottle Ring Toss game was set up in the backyard, and it was such a fun idea! Here’s how we played:
1. Materials Needed:
- Baby bottles (we used around 6-8)
- Small rings (you can use teething rings or any small rings that fit over the bottle tops)
- A flat surface or table
2. Setup:
- The baby bottles were arranged in a triangular formation on a flat surface, similar to how you’d set up bowling pins.
- Each participant stood a few feet away from the table. The distance depended on how challenging we wanted the game to be.
3. How to Play:
- Each player was given five rings.
- The goal was to toss the rings one at a time, aiming to land them around the neck of the baby bottles.
- It sounds easy, but let me tell you, it was much harder than it looked!
- Each ring that landed on a bottle earned a point.
- We played a few rounds, and the person with the highest score at the end won a cute prize.
3. DIAPER FASHION SHOW
The highlight of the baby shower had to be the Diaper Fashion Show. It was hilariously funny and a great way to get everyone involved and creative. Here’s how we did it:
1. Materials Needed:
- Toilet paper for creating diapers
- Various decorating materials like ribbons, markers, stickers, and glitter
- Paper for decorating and adding cut out shapes
- Music for the runway walk
2. Setup:
- We broke into teams of 3-4 people each. Each team had a “model” who would be dressed up in a diaper outfit.
- A table was set up with all the decorating materials.
3. How to Play:
- Each team had 10 minutes to create a fashionable diaper outfit for their model. This was the most fun part – the creativity and laughter were nonstop!
- Once the outfits were ready, we cleared a space in the living room and turned on the runway music.
- One by one, the models strutted down, showing off their team’s diaper creation.
- We had a panel of judges (the mom-to-be and a couple of close friends) who scored each outfit based on creativity, style, and overall hilarity.
- The winning team received a fun prize, and everyone had a great time cheering and laughing at the fantastic diaper designs.

Each of these games brought so much laughter to the baby shower. They were perfect icebreakers, bringing together friends and family in celebration of the new arrival. If you’re planning a baby shower, I highly recommend including these games – they’re sure to create lasting memories and plenty of giggles!
"Creating my baby registry used to feel so overwhelming — there are so many choices, and I wasn’t sure where to start. But Amazon’s Baby Registry made everything so easy! I loved that I could add items from any website, and the universal registry feature made it super simple. Plus, the completion discount was a lifesaver for those last-minute additions. It was so reassuring knowing that I could return items if needed. It really took the stress out of the whole process! - And you get a New Baby Welcome Box, which was amazing!" - Lynn, new mom from Atlanta
