Woodland Animals Baby Shower

I recently hosted a baby shower with a "Woodland Wonderland" theme, and it was my best party yet. I thought I'd share some of the details in case you're looking for a great theme for your next baby shower. I love it so much because there are so many decorating options available out there in the woodland theme. It made planning so easy!

We started with the decorations, using lots of natural elements like branches, pinecones, and moss to create a woodland feel. We hung fairy lights around the room to add a warm and inviting feel, and used a mix of greens, browns, and soft pastels for the color scheme. We also had adorable woodland animal cutouts like foxes, owls, and deer placed around the venue. I found some of the decor at Party City, and the rest on Amazon.

For the tables, we used burlap table runners and round wooden tree stump slices as centerpieces, topped with small potted plants and tea light candles. Each place setting had a mini mason jar filled with homemade pine and cinnamon scented candles and a favor tag as a thank you favor for the guests.

Our food and drinks were all inspired by the rustic forest. We had a "build-your-own trail mix" station with a variety of nuts, dried fruits, and chocolates. We also served "forest fruits" skewers with a mix of berries and grapes, "mushroom" cupcakes with red frosting and white spots, and a delicious "woodland punch" made with cranberry juice, apple cider, and sparkling water - with cinnamon sticks floating on top.

For activities, we set up a "onesie decorating" station where guests could paint and decorate baby onesies for the new baby. We also played a game called "Name That Woodland Animal," where guests had to match baby animal names to their adult names (ex: cow/calf). The winner received a cute woodland-themed prize.
